The Unseen Guest, 2018.

‘The Unseen Guest’ is a study into how the dynamic of public buildings dramatically change when empty. With the intention to capture the unique personalities of old and historical buildings, I began exploring the transformative qualities of the National Museum Wales, when not fulfilling its function of which to house the public. Photographing mostly between the hours of 9-10am, I found that the atmosphere of the building began to create something eerie and mysterious, when no one else was present.
